The Online Asayama Ichiden Ryu Dan promotion exam was held on September 28th and 29th. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we proudly announce that many passed the exam and received their new Dan rank. Those who couldn’t pass did a great job, too; we hope you can continue to train and challenge again on the next occasion.
Students who have passed the exam will receive an official certificate from Seki Sensei (shipped to their homes) and have the right to write their Dan rank next to their names during the Zoom lessons.

The next exam will be held in March 2025. We hope you will continue to make maximum efforts and aim to pass the higher Dan next time. Those with high Dan ranks who have participated in our annual training camps may also be eligible to open a club (3rd Dan or higher) or branch (5th Dan) of Kobudo Asayama Ichiden Ryu overseas in the future. Let’s make Seki Sensei’s dream of “reviving the golden age with 7,000 students” come true together.
