The first Dan rank promotion exam of our Online Asayama Ichiden Ryu Training was held on September 2nd, 2023. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we proudly announce that many passed the exam and received their first Dan rank. Those who couldn’t pass did a great job, too. We hope you can continue to train and challenge again next time.
Students who have passed the exam will receive an official certificate from Seki Sensei (shipped to their homes) and have the right to write their Dan rank next to their names during the Zoom lessons.

The next exam will be held in March 2024. We hope you continue to make maximum efforts and aim to pass Nidan (second Dan) next time. Those with ranks who participate in our annual training camps may also be eligible to open a branch of Kobudo Asayama Ichiden Ryu overseas in the future. Let’s make Seki Sensei’s dream of “reviving the golden age with 7,000 students” come true together within the next 10 years.
